One week, two aircraft events
On May 10th, 2008, we visited the Wings of History open house and fly-in at the South County Airport in San Martin. We got there towards the end of the event, which was ideal as it turned out, because we got to watch a lot of the aircraft leaving at the end of the event and also buzzing the runway.
Exactly a week later, we were back at Moffett Federal Airfield for the annual Wings of Freedom stop featuring their B24, B-25, and B-17, with the addition of a two-seater P-51 this year.
