"Congrats to @croyle You just won a Moab T-shirt!"

Back in 2002, I took this photo of Carrie and the Jeep on top of Copper Mountain near Bodie. When I posted it to the site, I mentioned that I thought it looked like a Jeep ad.

Fast forward to last week, when there was a short contest announced by the Jeep twitter account: they’d give a Jeep Easter Safari t-shirt to whoever posted the best “Only in a Jeep” photo by 5pm EST that day. I posted that “Jeep ad” picture among the entries. I don’t know how many pictures were posted, but later that day I was surprised to see that it had won as best photo!

Of course, I’d have been happier if the prize had been, say an entire Jeep or some mondo upgrades or something 😀 but really it was just nice that they liked the photo. I emailed Carrie to tell her that the photo of the Jeep and her had won this little contest and it made her day.
