What else can – or should – I add? It was a very enjoyable and moderate solo hike of around 6.4 miles. on a comfortable and occasionally very windy afternoon.

Looks fantastic! So green and lovely. My eyes are a bit drought weary – and trees that spread and have a canopy look so exotic and stunning. I know hills without much tree cover can be brutal to walk on in the summer when it’s hot, however hopefully being your spring it would have been nice. I hope to get some good walks in this weekend, but there will only be glimpses of views through trees rather than walking in the panorama.

It was lovely weather. In the summer, there’s very little shade and it gets hot & dusty, so I really prefer this time of year there.

I’ve grown to appreciate golden hills and even deserts, but green hills and woods will always be my true love, environmentally speaking.

    Have fun on your walks!
