Annual Spring El Toro Hike

Spring had just officially begun so it must be time for the annual trek up to the top of El Toro in Morgan Hill.

Joe and Antony were each hiking elsewhere this year but the “Hillside Stragglers” hiking crew was game for it! I made it clear from the start that we we would head directly over to El Toro Brewing for lunch immediately after the short hike, so that may have been why they all seemed eager to go.

Pics Here. I left the camera in Rob’s car while we had lunch, so unfortunately I don’t have any photos of our lunch or the beer. Suffice to say that I’ve tried about 7 or 8 of their beers and all were good. I prefer the hoppier varieties myself, and liked the outstanding Poppy Jasper Ale with extra centennial hops best.

Good there the weather was nice since it only happens once per year! Great photos, as always. I had the Poppy Jasper Ale; very nice from memory!
