Day Trip Medley, 2008
I’ve uploaded a new image gallery, this one a collection of images from various day trips I made in 2008. I excluded photos that are already in the dozen-or-so other galleries I put together throughout ’08, but still had a good smorgasbord of pictures from here and there on the backroads and trails.
This collection, and the previous one I had put together, felt a little like the “12 of 12” project in a way. In the latter, you take a dozen photos on the 12th day of a given month to document it, and this creates a nice “slice of life” effect. Since I often make day trips with the family, friends, or just solo, I feel that these galleries have a similar “slice of life” sampling of the things I see and do along the way. They very much bring back the feelings, smells, and other memories as I look through them.
Some absolutely BRILLIANT photos! You’re really making me regret any time spent with family and not out caching / bushwalking (not that I wasn’t feeling that before. . .). Impossible to pick any favourites as they are just all fantastic. And how did I not see the previous gallery?

Several photo galleries like that older day trip one pre-date my blog, but most/all of those older ones are listed on my site homepage. There’s also some crummy old stuff there still lol… I really need to properly integrate and update things here on the site at some point, but I may need a clone or something to get it done.
