To start, I delete my previous database in GSAK. All three PQs are loaded into GSAK which removes duplicate waypoints. Here GSAK's powerful filtering functions can be put to use, but I rarely use those.
Instead, the data is immediately exported into MapSource GDB format as a single file. On export, GSAK customizes the waypoints to my preference. First, I like the waypoints to be shown by GC#, and the cache size and type (e.g. "MT" for Micro, Traditional) is appended to the GC#.
Second, the waypoints are set to the custom icons I specify. I use the normal Garmin geocache icon for Traditional caches, but use the appropriate icon for other types such as Multis, Letterbox Hybrids, etc.
Lastly, the note field of each waypoint is populated with my preferred information: the cache D/T ratings, a short version of the cache name, and as much of the still-encrypted hint as will fit. There's very little room in the note field in the Garmin 60 series, only something like 31 characters.
To summarize, the three PQs have been loaded into GSAK and immediately exported as a single GDB. All of this takes very little time. Next, the exported file will be used in MapSource.
