Almost done! Now, the remaining caches are added to the baseline master file of other waypoints to get what you see here. I now have a current crop of active, unfound caches, along with my other important waypoints. It's ready to be downloaded to the GPS.
On the top right side is the Waypoint Properties window, which allows me to edit the details of a single or multiple caches if needed.
On the lower right is a screen capture from my GPS that shows how the waypoint information looks on the GPS in the field. I leave the hint encrypted so I don't see the hint by mistake if I look at this screen. Most geocachers use the hint immediately, but I usually prefer not to.
With the final waypoint list downloaded to the GPS, I'm ready for another week or more of geocaching. If a new cache comes out that I want to visit, or I solve a puzzle or something, those waypoints are added by hand during the week.
All of these files are saved on my computer. They take up very little drive space and are sometimes very useful for reference.
The end. Questions or other comments can be added to my associated blog post.
