As we turn off of Hwy 1 and begin the climb up Nimiento-Fergusson Road, we are greeted by numerous signs including this one. Fortunately, we're turning onto South Coast Ridge Road and skirting the southern edge of Fort Hunter Liggett, rather than crossing it.
