The body mount bolt should be tightened enough to line up the other side of the guard, and show you where you'll need to drill a 5/16th hole in the frame. I then loosened the body mount bolt just enough to let me swing the guard out of the way while I drilled the hole.

Alternatively, you could just drill with the guard in place, but you'll probably take off a little of the finish around that hole.
