Installation complete. You can always tell new parts on the underside of my Jeep... There's some water drops on the guard if you're wondering, there's nothing weird about the finish.
This guard seems like a reasonably good solution, although I might have preferred that the guard go up higher on the radiator. I wonder if lighter aluminum would do just as good a job in this application, even though it would probably have to be 1/4".
I don't expect tis part to adversely impact cooling by keeping reducing airflow across the bottom of the radiator tank, but I suppose it could. I'll keep an eye on that.
That's it. Installation only took about twenty minutes, other than my daughter being compelled to interrupt me several times... I feel better having the bottom of that plastic tank covered.
