I had three or four places I was thinking about going to kick off the new year, and since Andy and his son were coming along, Hollister Hills won out as by far the closest option.

It had been a year since I'd been to Hollister. I wanted to visit again, and to check out the Tank Traps trail in person. There were also a few geocaches to visit, and one I'd been wanting to place for a few months now...
