Afton Canyon has a lot of campsites but we were the only people within eyesight of where we set up. Behind the Land Cruiser is the picnic table we used, a fire pit and a proper area to set up a tent, but I'd pitched my tent right behind Toyotie so I had a windbreak.
When I unrolled my sleeping pad the night before, I discovered it somehow had gotten about a 4-inch slice in it! I tried a quick duct tape patch but that didn't work. Fortunately, I was using a 3-inch thick Thermarest pad so the ope-cell foam alone provided plenty of insulation comfort, even with the pad not holding air.
