Mission San Juan Bautista, established 1797, the fifteenth of California's original twenty-one Spanish colonial missions. Construction of the mission property included a granary, monastery, church, barracks and various housing, and continued until the church floor was finally tiled in 1817. It has an interesting history you can read at OldMission SJB.org.
