My friend Andy and I decided to do a full day trip down to explore the South Coast Road, which was in several of my guidebooks. I'd been meaning to get there for several months now. Full details of our trip can be found in the blog post but here we'll dive right into the picture captions.

For some reason, the first picture on the trip usually seems to come with something unexpected on the way, like an accident or a funny sign. This trip was no exception as there was an unusual addition parked out on the tarmac at the small South County Airport in Gilroy. One of these things is not like the others!
