John Wayne in his uniform from The Green Berets nicely segues into this Blue Star Memorial Highway marker. I first became aware of these markers from the old Locationless geocache when those were still around several years ago. They still catch my eye when I notice one. I've spotted several in Oregon and California. There's one near one of my geocaches, in downtown Campbell, CA.
