A few weeks prior to our trip, during a big storm a waterspout had decided to make an on-land excursion, much to the detriment of this house. This was the only home to sustain anything like this much damage. I thought it was remarkable that the ocean-facing window and sliding-glass deck doors managed to remain intact!
