Not much later, we stop for lunch in Orland. Since we were doing well on time, I drove several blocks away from the highway to seek out a local, non-chain restaurant which is my usual preference. Gloria's, shown here, was one interesting option but I'm the only one in the family that really likes Mexican food, so we ate next door instead.
