Memorial Day weekend, 2011, included an overnight family backpack trip to Frog Lake in Henry Coe S.P. We got some unexpected rain but we literally weathered the storm in good spirits and had a wonderful time in the beautiful park.

This was Allison's second backpacking trip, and she was lobbying to stay for two nights. Carrie was not so enthused by that suggestion, and also Allison had her last Brownie field trip for her troop on Monday morning. so we stuck to a simple overnighter.
