Part three finds us awaking at Homestake camp, we backtracked past The Racetrack & The Grandstand, Teakettle Junction, and Ubehebe Crater. After a brief scare and returning to Pavement, we headed back to Stovepipe Wells for lunch, then on to the roadside Journigan ruins. After a last pause at an overlook on Wildrose Road near sunset, we stopped and camped for the night at the Wildrose campground.
