Plastic mounting hardware that holds the rubber in place under each corner. You'll need to pull these out and push the rubber mud guards up and out of the way to get those L brackets in. Removing these plastic doodads destroys them more often than not, but in this case it doesn't matter since the flaps won't seal up the same with the L brackets in place anyway. Shouldn't be a big deal.
