The day before the the rally, my Jeep odometer tripped 100,000 miles.

I was happy to see this milestone reached, as the previous weekend my cracked Borla exhaust header suddenly got much worse and as I limped the Jeep home the rear pinion and ring detonated after I pulled off the highway onto a side road. My local shop was unable to get Borla to expedite the replacement header so my only option to get it into working shape was to have Jeff weld up the cracks in the one I had and get it back on, and then get the rear ring and pinion replaced ASAP. After some frantic heroics by the shop, I picked up the Jeep on Wednesday night and began the laborious process of breaking it in over the next 24 hours, and got that done the night before the rally, but it was very close.
