I was very overdue for some hiking, so I took advantage of a 4-hour window on a Sunday afternoon to get in nine miles of relaxed hiking at Almaden Quicksilver. I lucked out and avoided the rain that feel before and after the hike.

I don't think that most of these images really need a caption, so I've not included any. The one caption I did think of adding was for img_8994.jpg, where I was going to quote Jack Burton: "My god no, please, what is that, don't tell me!"
